Description

The promotional events of iMath project in Slovenia took place at two different venues. These were organised as follows:

iMath promotional event at 32th International Electrotechnical and Computer Science Conference ERK 2023, Portorož, Slovenija, 29. 9. 2023
A promotional event of the iMath project was held in conjunction with the 32nd International Electrotechnical and Computer Science Conference ERK 2023. The event served as a platform to raise awareness about the iMath project, with attention being drawn through a poster presented at the ERK conference, which attracted over 100 participants, and presentation within a dedicated section Didactics.
Within the bilingual section in Didactics which emphasised on several technology-related teaching aspects, a presentation of research results from the iMath project, further highlighting the project’s contributions to the field.
Following the sections’ oral presentations, a gathering of the interested public was organised. This interactive element of the event allowed for a deeper understanding of the iMath project and its implications, fostering a sense of community among the participants.
Overall, the event was successful in promoting the iMath project and in facilitating discussions on technology-related teaching aspects. The combination of presentations and discussions provided a comprehensive overview of the iMath project and its impact on the field of didactics. The event served not only as a promotional platform but also as a forum for exchange of ideas and knowledge.

Event “Intelligent Technologies for Learning and Teaching” held at University of Maribor, Slovenia on Thursday, March 14, 2024
The event "Intelligent Technologies for Learning and Teaching" was at the University of Maribor. To attract more engaged scholar, the event was co-organised by University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, and the Education Chapter of the IEEE Slovenia Section.
The event aimed to present existing and future learning and teaching technologies. Topics included automatic recommendation of student activities, motivational learning applications, and mathematical anxiety modelling. The event focused on presentation and evaluation of the student recommendation system, iMath. The program included a presentation of the LUCAMI laboratory, discussions on intelligent learning technologies, and an overview of selected projects and research.
The event concluded with potential collaboration opportunities in areas such as conceptual maps, language models, recommendation systems, and implicit learning outcome assessment. The event was a significant step towards understanding and implementing intelligent technologies in education.
