As a result of the exploitation activity a number of associated partners officially joined the project in order to contribute to the improvement of the project impact on their target groups and to ensure the project sustainability by continuing using the project deliverables in the next years.
The associate partners of the iMath project are organizations interested in EU values. All associated partners share the project objectives and are willing to contribute to their achievement.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The Department of Informatics at the University of Bergen is responsible for teaching courses in Informatics. It is responsible for four bachelor programs and three master programs. The optimization group at the department is responsible for a specialization in optimization in the master program in informatics, and teaches courses in modeling, optimization methods, and heuristic design. The group consists (September, 2023) of three permanent faculty members, one postdoctoral researcher, five PhD students, and two emiriti.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

The optimization group will follow closely the potential of the developed MathE platform and the corresponding recommender system of iMath. The group is very interested in the underlying learning methods and matrix factorization models.
