As a result of the exploitation activity a number of associated partners officially joined the project in order to contribute to the improvement of the project impact on their target groups and to ensure the project sustainability by continuing using the project deliverables in the next years.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The main priority of the Department is to provide students with fundamental as well as specialized knowledge, which will be necessary for them to work in professional sectors related to the production process, the use of mechanical, electronic and energy systems, the protection of the environment, and the development and use of new materials, as well.
Therefore, the objectives and duties of the Department are, inter alia, to:

Educate students in engineering technological areas and express their skills in applying, developing and promoting new technologies.
Develop scientific links with industry by the participation in production processes and the promotion of innovative projects aimed at developing technological knowledge national- and international-wide.
Engage in applied technological research.
Handle programs and specialization courses in modern technologies, aiming at the continuous training of graduates on them.
By completing their studies, students acquire the degree in Mechanical Engineering.
