Description of Dissemination Event:

Recruiting volunteers for getting real data for experiments with no expected reward is not an easy task. As pointed out in the all-partners online meetings on Friday 30/09/22, 14:00-17:00, and Thursday 03/11/22, 15:00-18:00, we were going to put it forward as a mathematical contest in solving Matrices and Determinants (MatDet) problems. The pedagogical action is planned in three stages, the firing-up stage of them being to design a concise but appealing text in both English and Spanish.

Outcomes and Results:

The PDF with the text in both languages was laid out for direct displaying and emailed to the professors in charge of four freshman courses (three in Spanish and one in English) in Linear Algebra and Discrete Mathematics (the specific subject of the data collection is dealt with at the very beginning), who were expected to both visualize in their e-learning environment and briefly comment about it in the classroom.
